“For more than 25 years, Luis Alberto Urrea has spoken about the contemporary West. He has brought us closer to the families and the lives of people who live here. He is a legend, a modern-day Mark Twain. It is a true honor to add Luis Alberto Urrea to the roster of Rittenhouse award winners." Ongratulstio s @urrealism!! 🎉🎊👏🍾❤️🌟

Heartland: A Memoir of Working Hard and Being Broke in the Richest Country on Earth by @sarah_smarsh
An urgent, honest book about what it means to live in poverty in America today.
I love this book and learned so much from it.
Verry much looking forward to hearing thoughts about this important book from all my fellow bookworms.
If you’re looking for a super special and inspiring gift for the young reader in your life, here it is. BOB was a favorite of TBG kids of all ages this year. (And if you’re already a fan, thanks for voting for BOB in the final round of the Goodreads Choice Awards! 🤞)
Some incredibly exciting news to share from @melissaalbertauthor!!
#TheHazelWood book two (title coming soon!) is now a thing(/stack of printouts) I can hold in my hands. Can’t wait to share it next year!!! 🚪✨😱✨
Love this post from @laura.tremaine! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book. So many of you told me to read Circe by Madeline Miller, and you were right. This is one of my top 5 reads of the year. It is just so good. I had completely forgotten how much I enjoyed Greek mythology when I was student and these stories, these gods and men and monsters, they have withstood the test of time for a reason. I loved Madeline Miller’s deceptively simple prose, the layers upon layers of meaning and metaphor, how these old stories retold in modern language make them still so relevant. This is a beautiful novel. I kinda want to read it again. 📚
